Did anybody watch http://www.fox.com/vanished/ this last night?
I'm usually not into dramas in general, but I watched last night because they filmed it here in Atlanta, and I think i'm going to watch the series, it was really good.
Its a political conspiracy mystery type thing.

I haven't watched any others 24, lost, etc, so I'm not burned out on them. Its kind of a shitty time slot (during MNF) so I'll have to recordsmash wrote:I'm frigging TIRED of serials. You know nothing significant is going to happen until the final hours...and its going to be intentionally drawn out and misleading.
Fuck 'em.
Okay, I still really like the show, but I'm getting tired of seeing locations that clearly aren't even close to being representative of Hotlanta.
This most recent one featured Stone Mountain as a key location, and they couldn't even bother to show us some stock aerial shots? Would it really have cost them that much to film the series in the ATL?
Last night also had a scene where they are standing in a field looking for a transmission site with the city skyline of LA in the background. They're not even trying that hard to pretend they're not in California, so why bother to set the show in the South?
