Great show. I got hooked watching it with my friend last season, and I only recently got Showtime, so I've only seen the entire last season and the episodes this season, I still need to watch seasons 1 through 3.

Dexter is a fantastic anti-hero, he has just enough redeemable qualities that you can empathize with his character.

In the season premiere a few weeks ago, for example, I was pretty much pissed off 90% of the episode, it was 55 minutes of "wtf are you doing, Dexter?" until the last 5 minutes. Once he brutally beat someone to death, I started liking him again.

As for it being gay or not, it's one of those gray areas that some people will say is gay, some will say its not gay. Or have a list of circumstances on when it is or is not gay.

Personally, I have had no disappointment in my orgasms so far, and I have no desire to have anything in my butt.

I think that some people warranted it. It's doubtful that someone who dismembers people and stores them in a freezer will ever be a contributing member to society.
