The Event is shaping up to be quite a good series - glad it's been brought for a full season at least!

Anyone following Rubicon at all - any thoughts?

Rubicon is an excellent show, probably my favorite show of 2010 so far. It's too bad it was only 13 episodes long, and I have to wait 8-10 months before season 2 starts.

The pacing is slower than most shows, but it helps add a level of realism to the characters. My only major gripe is with the finale, which not only left tons of unanswered questions, but also no real closure to the main story. I enjoyed the second-to-last episode more than the finale.

I might stretch this one out a bit then - I acquired the first 3 to try it out and really enjoyed it so might grab the rest and see if I can stretch it out till season 2. Seems strange that this one slipped under the radar a bit. Either that or I missed all the posts and rss feeds on other sites :/

I actually caught an episode of Blue Bloods a couple weeks ago (it was a slow Friday night). It was surprisingly good.

Not surprising. I watched The Gates, but it was pretty shit.

Has anyone else realized that the go to station for shows seems to be Fox? And like AB, I feel like Fox is far to quick to axe stuff, so that's scary.

For myself (and these are probably my favorites) House, Bones, Fringe, Lie to Me - all Fox. Nikita is too, and it's still holding my interest.

Decades ago, Justin and I had a famous argument where he purported to only watch Fox and NBC. Well, NBC has virtually nothing left to watch anymore.

If you had to choose one station only, which would it be?

Nikita is on The CW.

Shocking I know, since it doesn't have a cast of twenty-somethings pretending to play teens and tweens.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I couldn't live without FOX. I hate how they operate, but I love many of the shows they bring us...Fringe, House, Bones are in my can't-miss list, and others like Lie To Me have grown on me over time. I also like what they are doing over on FX with Rescue Me and Justified.

Speaking of the cable channels, I'm getting to be highly involved with AMC with Rubicon and very soon The Walking Dead, USA has me hooked with Burn Notice, White Collar and Royal Pains, and then there's SyFy with Caprica and Warehouse 13.

I live in the UK so all of them I could live without - as long as I still have newleecher and giganews I'll be happy :D until I get a nice letter from my isp that is.
