I bought one to train for a job interview.

I got the job.

Right now I have GRAW, Oblivion, Hitman Blood Money, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, and Halo 2 (first game I bought for it).

I might get Prey and/or Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.

He lies. He is a bum.

I have Rumble Roses (because I'm a pervert), Oblivion and deciding whether to buy the upcoming RTS LOTR game or just grab GRAW and Blood Money.

And no I haven't completed Oblivion. My life begs to be attended to.

Software tester for a developer owned by Microsoft.

It's the first time I have tested this close to the developers.

I started at Nintendo of America, but the development groups for everything I worked on there were in Japan.

Also I worked at an outsource testing lab that received projects from all over the US and the world and some were just down the street. Mostly I did video card and OS compatibility testing there, but I did a little of everything.

I worked on Age of Empires III, but the devs were in Texas and I worked in Redmond, WA. I did get direct emails from the devs though, instead of having layers of managerment in between us. I am in the credits for a few games published by Microsoft Game Studios.

At my current job devs walk over and ask me to repro things sometimes. And I can ask them questions directily about what the code is doing or how the game should look.

I didn't read all that but I assume that it describes your job at the drive thru.

Congratulations!

Just lucky to live in an area where they make video games.

But I really like having this job.

I like testing in general, but this is the best project I have worked on in almost all ways.

Eighteen years later… I still don’t own an Xbox 360.
