I thought the story was pretty weak but I loved the animation!

I agree. The story was a little 'meh' but the animation was pretty hot. It took a little getting used to a cell shader jumping around 3D CGI. The soundtrack was actually pretty good, too.

However, you would think that in the future they would make a giant robot that didn't have humongous bunny ears.

Got the collector's edition box.Too bad you have to buy the great soundtrack seperately, though. Awesome animation....story was ok.
Does anyone remember the original Appleseed animation?
